Kitchen Team Member

This role often requires you to work flexibly including weekends and evenings. Previous experience is not essential but may be advantageous. Full training will be provided. Immediate start.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, professional, positive and proactive individuals who are passionate about making a difference one dish at a time. You’ll need an eye for presentation, time-management skills, eagerness to learn and an ability to remain calm in an often fast-paced environment. Communication is key, as you’ll be part of a fast-moving, tight-knit team with a customer-centric approach.

Job Role

Duties include morning food preparation, preparing freshly cooked meals (including those with special dietary requirements), maintaining kitchen cleanliness throughout the day, maintain stock provisions including the dating, storage and rotation of stock, acceptance & storage of deliveries, processing dish, work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining area, maintain appropriate records to comply with HACCP, company standards and legislation, to uphold & maintain the hygiene and food safety standards within the restaurant.

  • Somebody who takes a level-headed, mature and responsible approach

  • Outstanding time-management and multitasking skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast paced environment

  • An eye for detail and exemplary presentation skills

  • Strong communication skills through a variety of means

  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with key health & safety/food hygiene standards

  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks

  • To consistently use initiative and take and follow instructions

  • Exceptional organisation and planning skills. High attention to detail and accuracy - great at managing one’s own time and being part of a tight knit team

  • Resilient, hard working, driven and self-motivated

  • Develop an expert knowledge of our menu and specifications

  • Ensure that every dish is prepared safely, cooked perfectly and presented on point

  • Somebody who is highly reliable with excellent timekeeping

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.50 per hour + Tip Pool
